Warning signs presented themselves from the start. Flashing like the neon displays in Piccadilly Circus, they couldn’t have advertised things more clearly. But Abbie was too troubled to see clearly. Too damaged to see the dangers Tony Sharpe brought into her life. Until the day he pushed her too far.

NOVELS & NATTER

An online book club for the busy person - let's get reading! If like me, you love the opportunity and excuse to escape into a 'good read', then you'll love the online book club, Novels & Natter, I run with book bloggers, Amrit and Mel. We're a friendly group, and each month we read and chat about the books we have read plus our latest book club title! We keep each other motivated to take that 'me time' that reading gives us.

Our monthly book club picks are from across genres and are ones that make us look forward to bedtime – never ones where reading every paragraph proves a mental challenge. And don’t worry, there’s no pressure to read every book every month. Oh, and what goes on in the club, stays in the club!

‘A real page-turner. It had me hooked from the first until the last page and kept me awake until the early hours to finish it. Just when I thought I had it figured out, another twist threw my theory awry. The author had me fooled, and that doesn’t often happen’

Ya’ll know I love my thrillers, and it takes a lot for me to give a thriller a good review because I feel like so much has already been done before, but Campbell managed to get me, and I am here for it!

What an incredible read, I can't believe this is a debut novel! I was constantly second-guessing myself throughout the book. The mystery and intrigue were brilliant, and I loved the cast of characters and how well they were introduced.
We all know I read a lot of psychological thrillers, and this really was a good one!

This ticked all of my boxes for a great domestic noir, a short sharp shock of a prologue and then straight into Eva contemplating murdering her mother had me completely hooked.
